How the workshop runs
Andrew posted it himself after the Tweed Valley Weekly wrote about the business in 2024. A customer had to tell him he was in the paper.

It's all written on the board by the door, and that's the work Andrew does every day. One workshop, one mechanic you can talk to directly.

Something not right with the car or ute? Bring it into the workshop and Andrew will track down what's going on, explain it in plain words and fix it.

Log book servicing
Scheduled servicing by the book, including new cars. Book it in by phone and drop it off on Prospero St.

Brake & clutch
Brakes and clutch work, from the job you know is due to the noise or feel you can't quite put a name to.

Rego checks
Rego time coming up? Get it checked at an Authorised Safety Check station right here in South Murwillumbah.

Tweed Valley Automotive is an Authorised Safety Check station. Look for the plate by the door on Prospero St. Book your rego check in with Andrew, and if anything needs sorting, the workshop is right there to fix it.

The man on the sign
Meet Andrew Barnett.
Andrew opened Tweed Valley Automotive in 2011, and he'd already spent years in the trade by then. All up he's got 35 years of experience, and his name goes on the shopfront, the counter and the licence.
When you ring the workshop, you're talking to the person who'll actually work on your car. He's the one who'll explain what he found, and he's the one thanking customers on Facebook every Christmas for coming back year after year.
In 2024 the Tweed Valley Weekly wrote him up. He only found out because a customer came in and told him.
